Just as safe as San Diego or Las Vegas or New York City. Of course, there are tough parts of town and places to avoid but by and large Northern Baja is a friendly and welcoming community filled with wonderful people and a rich and beautiful culture. We personally, have been traveling to Ensenada for the last 20 years, we fell in love with this welcoming city that we decided to move here. We now share our residence between the city of Los Angeles and Ensenada, as many americans do.
